Last night the Twitterati were going nuts over The Glamour Women of the Year Awards. Rihanna was not surprisingly the style star of the evening. Rihanna's couture gown was so over the top (in a good way) that she couldn't even climb the steps to get her award on stage from Iman. She had to wait backstage to avoid any not-being-able-to-lift-your-leg dress ripping scenarios. Clever girl.
Her dress is from Stephane Rolland's Spring '09 Couture collection. I can't even imagine what this dress looked like in person! When I first saw it, I wasn't sure about it, but consider the tone of the evening: courage, strength, leadership, bravery. This dress embodies all of those descriptions. Well done, RiRi!
