Well I have finally arrived after 2 days of traveling and 12 hours of catch up sleep! The weather is perfection and I've already checked out the beach for some much needed sun. The top picture is the Bondi to Bronte walk which I used to do everyday when I lived here. You get exercise without even realizing it because the views are so stunning.

The second pic is one of my favorite restaurants in Sydney, North Bondi Italian. It had a very welcoming sign on the front that very much captures the spirit and mentality here, especially at Bondi. Keep checking back for more pictures from my trip!

Color Talisman

Vest and dress: Cynthia Steffe, Boots: Zara

Pantone recently revealed that turquoise is the Color of the Year for 2010. The color description couldn't be any more spot on to how I'm feeling at the moment:

"Turquoise inspires thoughts of soothing tropical waters and comforting escape from the everyday troubles of the world, while at the same time restoring our sense of well-being"

They say the color is also protective and healing and my immediate thoughts go out to the earthquake victims and those suffering.

The color also represents the fantasy of finding an inviting and pleasant paradise, which immediately makes me think of this special place:
