A New World Order

I was wondering how long it would take for people to actually take bloggers seriously.  And not only bloggers actually, but online retailers.  The D&G show not only set the standard for the fashion trends for the season, but also for a new world...err, seating.. order.  Heavyweight department stores like Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue were seated in the 2nd and 3rd row.  So was The Wall Street Journal. was given a front row seat along with 3 high profile international bloggers.  The bloggers were not only given a front row seat, but found  laptops and a desk waiting for them!!  And, the gossip is that when legendary (mostly print) photographer Mario Testino saw he was sitting next to a blogger, he got up and left.

Bloggers are the new media.  Believe it.  (BTW, I got most of this gossip from Twitter...not from a print source)

Thats fascinating. What a a progressive idea, providing lap tops in the front row. Thanks for that interesting piece of news.
