A New World Order

I was wondering how long it would take for people to actually take bloggers seriously.  And not only bloggers actually, but online retailers.  The D&G show not only set the standard for the fashion trends for the season, but also for a new world...err, seating.. order.  Heavyweight department stores like Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue were seated in the 2nd and 3rd row.  So was The Wall Street Journal.  Yoox.com was given a front row seat along with 3 high profile international bloggers.  The bloggers were not only given a front row seat, but found  laptops and a desk waiting for them!!  And, the gossip is that when legendary (mostly print) photographer Mario Testino saw he was sitting next to a blogger, he got up and left.

Bloggers are the new media.  Believe it.  (BTW, I got most of this gossip from Twitter...not from a print source)

xoxo,

SG (the next big fashion blogger)

Thats fascinating. What a a progressive idea, providing lap tops in the front row. Thanks for that interesting piece of news.
