Everyone knows Rebecca Minkoff's handbags are utterly chic, classic, and cool.  Just enough trend to make it distinct but classic enough to carry over from season to season.  Now, you can get the same look with her new clothing line.  Rebecca teamed up with Ilaria Urbinati, celebrity stylist and founder of chic boutique, Confederacy, and created an amazing apparel collection that launched last Spring and already has been picked up by Shopbop and Scoop (just to name a few).  For Fall, they took musical inspiration from Greenwich Village folk rock music in the 60's, which gives the collection sort of a poetic, dark femininity.  Keeping the brand image consistent, you can see the influence of her handbags in the collection.  Piping and zippers on the garments give it that Rebecca Minkoff feel while still maintaining its own identity.  She knows exactly how to keep her customers coming back for more.

Some of the pieces and best sellers will be coming back season after season in different fabrics and details like this dress below (aptly named the Morning After dress after one of her trademark handbags).  The pieces range from around 300 for dresses, 200s for tops, and around 600 for the coat.

Loving this whole line!  Seeing it yesterday totally got me in the mood to start layering fall clothes... which I probably will regret saying when its minus 40 degrees out.

And we got to pick out our own little Minkette pouch!  How cute is this? Couldn't be more perfect for summer.  Thanks Ali!

xoxo,

SG
