Jimmy Choo Friday!

I dub today Jimmy Choo day!! Lots of Jimmy Choo news on this gloomy Friday...

Jimmy Choo and Elton John AIDS Foundation have launched a photo competition to support the launch of Project PEP, a charity collection that donates 25% of sales to the Simelela Rape Centre in South Africa.  The money goes towards providing the HIV-preventative treatment PEP (which must be taken within 72 hours of exposure to HIV) and counselling to victims of rape in South Africa, which has the highest count of rape in the world.

The capsule collection features an amazing punk rock motif and if your not in the position to spend on a pair of luxury heels, there are affordable pieces like a mobile tag or a cuff bracelet. To buy: www.jimmychoo.com

You can also help by entering the photo competition called 'You, Your Shoes, and 72'.   All you need to do is upload a picture of yourself in a fabulous pair of shoes (the more creative the better!) and you will be entered to win the ultimate Jimmy Choo experience.  The winner receives a trip to Jimmy Choo headquarters and gets to leave with 7 pairs of shoes and 2 bags

Jimmy Choo is harnessing the power of social networking to raise awareness so please follow them on Twitter (@jimmychoo_72) and Facebook (Jimmy Choo 72). The deadline for the competition is December 7th and the winner will be chosen 72 hours later on December 10th so get snapping!

To enter, go to their website: www.jimmychoo72.com

In other Jimmy Choo news, their collection for H&M launches tomorrow in 200 stores worldwide!  The Fifth Avenue store is also re-opening so make sure you get to that location nice and early if you are in New York.

Tamara Mellon has created pieces that bring rock and roll to H&M at the great prices that we know and love from the Swedish retailer.  Translation: Pieces will go FAST.  Get your hands on their signature style good and early so you don't miss out!

xoxo,

SG
