Yet Another Reason to Drop Verizon..

Well Gucci, look at you!  You've become all techy and stuff.  First you debut a social networking eyewear site and now an iPhone app designed with Mark Ronson.  I don't know about you, but I've always wanted to know everything about Frida Giannini since she headed up the design house and now at least I know what songs she listens to when she skips down the Piazza della Signoria.

Not only that but Frida also loaded the app with her favorite restaurants, hotels, and shops in 20 different chic cities around the world using a Google GPS system.  There's also access to look books, shows, and news from Gucci's latest collections and of course all of the store locations are also GPS'd so you are never without something horsebit.

Perfectly wedding fashion with music, Mark Ronson put his stamp on the app by creating Gucci Beats, a virtual turntable where you can mix your own tracks and share with friends on Facebook.

The timing of the launch of the Gucci/Mark Ronson iPhone app couldn't be better.  Mark has just designed a line of sneakers for Gucci that will be available at a pop-up shop on Crosby Street beginning this Saturday.

My favorite part about the app?  Frida says she wants it to be like a mini virtual accessory.  Spoken like a true designer.

xoxo,
