Poppin Up

There are some men that just always look alarmingly chic and John Bartlett is one of them.  Last night he hosted a party for his new Pop-up shop for his affordable and American modern line, Claiborne by John Bartlett.   The party filtered out of the shop onto the tented carpet where handsome straight-edge guys modeled in the clothes and style guys with amazing black studded boots co-mingled.  It was sort of a Bravo family reunion with Alex and Simon, Kevin Christiana and Jack Mackenroth from Project Runway, and the lovable Andy Cohen.

How adorable is Peter Som? He had the cutest old-school blue and white striped tie on! Love him and his clothes of course.

Just in time for Father's Day, the boutique will be temporarily open at 143 Seventh Avenue South from June 18th - June 22nd.  The line is extremely affordable (a blazer being $188 is the most expensive piece).  John told me that he wanted to keep the line crisp and clean, free of labels and even put a little ipod loop on the inside.  So Americana chic.
