Is London the new New York?  Michelle wore Basso and Brooke, London's it girls just took over Dolce and Gabbana's Cannes party, and now Burberry is bringing its show back to the city.  Girls lined up for hours just to take a peek at Kate Moss and to grab anything Topshop.  Is it about time that London gets the style recognition it deserves?  

London Fashion Week will be celebrating 25 years of British Fashion this September coinciding with the shows.  Burberry is making the move back to London to pay homage to the celebration and expect other Brit-It designers to follow suit.  The London Fashion Week website notes that another major designer will be announced to move back to London in September.  SG speculates that it will be Matthew Williamson, who has been showing in NYC recently.  Stay tuned!
